I liked your aggression in the first round...tough to keep that up though as you probably noticed toward the end ;) So pacing yourself and working on your conditioning would probably be helpful.
I noticed a lot of times when you doubled your jab you threw it like a speed bag punch, if you know what I mean. Make that double jab two real jabs.
Go downstairs more. You had a lot of success with it when you did it. You have a lot of power, so the guy was really raising his arms high to defend his head. Just jump in there and rip him up with body shots, then hit him in the head before you disengage.
For what it's worth, I thought that was a really close fight. Unfortunately, the better fighter doesn't always win. He scored with a lot of light shots that you couldn't be bothered with blocking. Most of his points came with his straight left, which was getting through mainly because he was a southpaw and they're all controlled by the devil. Same opponent in an orthodox stance, and you would have won easily.
One more thing is head movement. You were giving away a lot of height, so why not bob and weave your way inside before going to work? Moving your head makes him hesitant to throw, and it makes him miss a lot more which sets up your counters.
Good work though, I'm glad it was that guy in there against you and not me haha.

wow that was such a cool fight!!, very intense. My favorite part was at just after 4 minutes and you threw 3 straight rights in a row, and the first 2 hit but he dodged the last one. That was just like in the movies, very cool, props on that.
I don't really like those wild arm whiffs you were doing in the 3rd round. looks like they will get you into trouble.
That was a fun fight to watch, you 2 gave the crowd one hell of a show. I think you understand your faults and what needs to be done and you should be proud of this fight.

no offense, but ewwwww dude, you have a lot of work to do.
- dropping your hands to your waist when in range - bulling forward head first - squaring up your feet in range - swinging wildly - dropping your right hand to your waist when you jab - your footwork was little more than walking forward
On the scorecards he crushed you. The scores were somewhere around 30-10. Your opponent had a really solid amateur style that does well in scoring. You brawled with more of a professional "pressure" style, which does horribly in the amateurs.

i don't mean to be harsh, just posting what I see.
I recommend sparring drills. I make my team do 36 rounds a week of sparring drills.
Sparring drills are done at full speed, in full sparring gear.
One partner can only throw a single jab, the other partner can only defend. For a round. then switch. Next, catch and counter, next defend the 1-2. Slips, counters, combinations, attacking, smothering, escaping, contact counters.....
Any pattern can be practiced this way. It builds you up to thousands of repetitions. This is a way to build your sparring/boxing skills without getting pounded on for making mistakes.

I liked you aggression, condidtioning and power though. If you could have used footwork to trap hi into corners more and then went to the body, he'd been in trouble. You started out with good head movement, and then it kind of disapperared. Keep it up. You opponent looked VERY experienced in my opinion.

Good work, you went to fight and put on a good show so be proud. The main issue I would pick out from the video was your jab, you winged it rather then through it straight which made it easy to read, had less defence from the shoulder when throwing it and also makes for a weaker jab. You are a novice like me and have plenty of time to work on your issues, take them one step at a time and work on them one by one and you will be sorted. Good luck for the future.

I liked your style, but he outsmarted you. He kept his cool and composure while you were working harder but not really scoring much. You did get some good punches in, though.
