Sledgehammer workouts are one of my favorite kinds. I like to incorporate it into conditioning drills. Try this:
-sledgehammer diagonal swings x10 per side
-hook the hammer head into your tire and drag it backwards 50 yards
-drop to the ground, perform 10 burpees
repeat for a 3 minute round. 4-6 rounds, 1 minute rest.
thanks for the replies. your little routine is an excellent idea, i especially like the tire dragging after a few hits. will definately be trying this out next training session! this has also given me a few ideas on how to 'spice' mine up.
