Ok so I start dieting next week for the Us Championships, yes all of last year was bumped for gains and personal issues. So here we are 16 weeks away, at 12 weeks out i will modify the diet and give you guys some more info on my carb loading day, that will all come in a month from now.
Meal 6) 6 oz ground beef cup of brown rice (pre workout)
immediately post workout 8 oz of veggie smoothie for calories and sugar
Meal 7) Tilapia/ sweet potatoe
Meal 8) Casein Shake with 1 scoop of peanut butter (sleep)
Ill keep everyone posted on how training is going and log some entries much like i did for the 2010 worlds. Any going to the Arnold next month hit me up.

Quick question, will your diet differ very much from workout days to rest days?
I will pull back on some of my carbs and cal on an off day...I dont really take off days or plan an off day, i get a lot of criticism with going weeks before taking an off day but its my style. even on a so called off day i still do core and intervals.

What's that break down to Protien/carbs/calories?
at 16 weeks out i dont worry about the numbers, once i hit 12 weeks ill start the number game. and focus on carb loading

Often is the key, the food can become pretty plain and routine but just deal with it. i still get hungry but eating jsut ever couple hours helps me from gettin a starved feeling. I'll also have some rice cakes from time to time through out the day to trick myself into feelin full.

Nice, so you eat that everyday? That's kinda nice though because it becomes difficult to plan new meals each week, mix it up, but still meet your goals. Right now I'm cutting for boxing and following leangains (intermittent fasting). My fight is just around the corner so my calories are way down. Sucks being hungry all the time.

Can't say body building is my cup of tea but I do respect the hell out of it and can appreciate the pure effort and dedication it takes. Looking forward to the updates.

any anorectics for the hunger?
as in a hunger suppressant supplement? no. the only supps i take (due to urin and polygraph testing) is glutamin, when i start gettin under 12 weeks ill jump on a fat burner, then of course the week of i'll take a diuretic to help dry out, along with dandelion root.

yea i dont change a whole lot really every 4 weeks it will adjust a little, but im naturally extremely routine as it is. I only get real irritable and hungry the last few weeks really. all athletes have it tough like for combat athletes you gata make your weight but still be able to fight, where i dont have to hit a certain weight but i gata stripped of all fat and dry to the bone, but not go flat so gata keep certain fluids and food to fill muscle bellys up and not to cramp up or pass out on stage. which happens often, guys cramp up n fall down I've even seen a guy pass out before.
