just used my new gymboss timer for the first time ( minute drills)
excellent! easy to set up, no having to look at the clock, even counts no. of "sets".
looks like it'll be good for tabatas too, timing rounds etc.
got it from here £16 plus post, took a day to arrive:(in UK)
http://www.training-timers.co.uk/
phoned him to order, worked out cheaper!

Yes, it's a great timer - I ordered mine from the same company, on your recommendation!
Tried my first Tabata training on Saturday - can it get any harder?!!
I've also got their personal boxing timer too, which is great for normal rounds. The great thing about the Gymboss is that it can be carried on while doing roadwork.

Not sure how long they take to deliver to the UK?

I just got my Gymboss and managed to program my first Dual time in about 10 minutes after removing it from the package. That's pretty amazing if you knew how inept I was at these little pushbutton gadgets. Anyway, I can't wait to use it on one of Ross's GPP drills, it's going to be great not having to count or strain my neck to keep my eye on a clock.
Thanks Gymboss!

Got one for my birthday (special request) last month, I'm using it nearly every workout now. The best was the II GPP drill (can't remember the number) that went 30 sec each for burpees, jumping jacks, split jumps, burpees, jumping jacks, squats/pushups. With the vibrate feature on, I could crank the music and simply focus on form without having to fight with the timer on my watch and listen to the annoying beeps telling me how much time I was wasting.
I've been buying a bunch of people the NG lately--I think this is going to be the follow-up gift.
